Real Image / Consent
Real Image consent and image use
Real Image is built around photography, looking, and live relation. The more personal the encounter is, the more visible the boundaries around capture, delivery, public use, and withdrawal should be before booking.
Four things to confirm before booking
- Whether you accept being photographed.
The camera and image record are part of Real Image. If you do not want to be photographed at all, say so before booking. - Whether images may be used publicly.
Participants may choose: private delivery only; selected public use after an additional confirmation; or use according to the current project's written note. - Delivery depends on the current edition.
Number of images, retouching, raw files, timing, and print options should be confirmed for each booking or project edition. - Minors need guardian confirmation.
If a participant is under 18, say so before booking and include a guardian in the confirmation process.
Default protection
Personal images should not be treated as publicity material unless public use has been clearly confirmed.
Withdrawal channel
If you want a public image removed or its credit/context changed, email the image location and your request.
Boundaries first
If a concern about privacy, intensity, or boundaries appears, the participant can raise it during intake or in the live encounter.
For participants
Real Image is not a photo service asking you to hand over privacy. It is a live situation around looking, being seen, the camera, and relation. Clear boundaries make the work possible.
